Q & A
Q: When did you know you wanted to be a music teacher?
A: I knew I wanted to be a teacher when I was in first grade. I wanted to be better than my Kindergarten teacher, who I did not like and wanted to be just like Sister Mary Ann, my first grade teacher because she was amazing! I changed my mind a lot then when I received the scholarship my senior year in high school I knew I wanted to be a music teacher. Being in band helped me in so many ways throughout school.
Q: What is your favorite color?
A: My favorite colors are kelly green and purple, can't you tell.
Q: What is your favorite song?
A: I don't really have one. There are so many good songs and my favorite changes all the time. Right now, it is probably Moonlight, Isabelle by Buster Blue.
Q: What instruments do you play?
A: I play a lot of different instruments. My main instruments are bassoon and handbells. I can play all the string, brass, percussion, and woodwind instruments because I had to take a class on all of them when I was in college. I am not a professional on these instruments, but I do know how to play them! My worst instruments are piano and guitar, I should work on them.
